birkby’s brickworks, small steel wagon 4 flangeless wheels , forked bracket accept haulage chain. ran on 18in gauge plateway made lengths of steel angle. donated 1983.
bicslade tramroad oak-framed 4-wheel plateway wagon, 3 ft 6 in (1,067 mm), bixslade in forest of dean. oldest item in collection built 1790 , given trust in 1964.
dinorwic quarry railway (padarn railway), 4 ft (1,219 mm) gauge host wagon built 1848 carry 3 2′ gauge slate wagons , 2′ gauge guards van quarries incline down port dinorwic. line closed in 1961 , wagons came museum in 1964.
nantlle tramway wagon, gauge 3 ft 6 in (1,067 mm); steel: double-flanged wheels, loose on fixed axles, built glaslyn foundry, portmadoc. line opened 1828 worked horses until final section closed british railways in 1963, last use of horses br. given museum in 1958.
oakley quarry coal wagon, 1 ft 11 ⁄2 in (596.9 mm) wooden body doors @ 1 end, ran on festiniog railway. purchased 1963.
bryn eglwys quarry wagon, 2 ft 3 in (685.8 mm), wood, carrying slate slabs out of quarry. donated in 1980 , in store until restoration , display in 2001.
woolwich arsenal wagon, 18 in (457 mm) wooden flat body carrying explosives. gift 1976.
