the parish church of saints grade listed building. late 13th , 14th centuries, 15th-century porch. restoration in 1846-7 wyatt , brandon.

churches @ alvediston , bowerchalke considered chapels of broad chalke church, until became separate parishes in 1861 , 1880 respectively. broad chalke , bowerchalke united in 1952 , became part of chalke valley team ministry in 1972.

there 8 bells in church tower, including 1 14th century. 1553 there 4 bells, fifth added in 1616 , sixth in 1660. 2 more added mark end of 20th century, part of renovation funded millennium commission.
