my book studio


the mybook studio edition comes quad interface: usb 2.0 / firewire 400 / firewire 800 , esata. marketed use mac os x. edition available storage capacities of 1 tb, 1.5 tb , 2 tb.


the current edition (as of november 2010) has 2 firewire 800 ports , 1 usb 2.0 mini port. comes pre-formatted mac os x hfs+.


all current book studio lx drives include 5400rpm hitachi branded raptor hard drive.


the mybook studio edition ii contains 2 drives , designed used raid system increased performance. edition available storage capacities of 1 tb, 2 tb, 4 tb , 6 tb.

the 2 drives can replaced user.


the led gauge has design fault on these disks. several users reported of leds burning out after 3 4 months of normal usage.
