between 1990 , 2007, fish production in india has grown @ higher rate food grains, milk, eggs, , other food items.. second largest fish producing country in world, india, touched fisheries production mark of 10 million ton per annum in 2015. indian inland waters (rivers, reservoirs, wetlands, lakes , ponds) contribute 62–65% of total fisheries production. india presently targeting achieve 13 million ton fish production mark year 2020 achieve second blue revolution .
