in philippines, amihan refers season dominated trade winds, experienced in philippines cool northeast wind. characterized moderate temperatures, little or no rainfall, , prevailing wind east. encantadia writer, suzette doctolero based on concept amihan keeper of gem of wind/air. in series, 4 gems of nature referred brilyante (gems) control balance in world: air, fire, water , earth.
