the cap badge of ffy mounted knight (the thane of fife). worn on collars of officers , men of squadron , on arms above chevrons of senior non-commissioned officers. black beret of royal tank regiment worn regimental headdress. regiment wore stable belt in regimental colours of crimson , yellow dark blue stripe.
