chris lloyd completed thrilling finish tournament overhauling long-time leader tom lewis take boys title. in girls match, alexandra peters held on overnight lead on final day take trophy.


lloyd played winning final round of 73 beat lewis, had led 8 shots @ end of first round , 4 shots going final day s play. lloyd, 17, bristol, bore down on lewis , took lead on 12th hole. 1 shot lead going final hole held nerve win final score of 11 under. tomasz anderson took third place score of 4 over.

peters clinched girls’ championship final score of 5 under, leaving ahead of nearest rival jessica wilcox ended tournament on level par. 16-year-old, shifnal, nottinghamshire, had gone final day four-shot lead , never looked in danger of losing it.


finishing strongly, wilcox jumped second place helped run of 3 birdies on front nine, ahead of holly clyburn , heidi baek both recorded scores of 3 over.
