naughty nell s public house, restored 16th century coaching inn, known unicorn, claims have been home of nell gwyn , renowned bedchamber. had been known name time. building sold in auction in 2011 , vacant , awaiting works.
the jerningham arms opposite, built in 1705 coaching inn, closed in late 1990s/early 2000s , turned flats. royal george closed in 2015 , converted co-op supermarket. beehive, on curriers lane, closed in 2017: future uncertain.
