in august, @ age of 11, maguire beat more 800 competitors 30 countries become winner of under-12 world golf championship @ pinehurst in north carolina. twin sister leona maguire came third. in september, twins chosen bring ryder cup trophy stage during presentation ceremony after europe s win @ k club against usa.

2007

maguire won midland girls championship; ulster girls championship; leinster girls championship; ulster u-19 schools championship; girls interprovincial championship; ulster girls order of merit title; irish girls order of merit title; runner-up in connacht girls championship; semi-finalist in irish ladies close , semi-finalist british girls championship.

2008

on 21 may, maguire runner-up twin sister leona in lancome irish ladies close championship @ westport, county mayo. on 19 july, positions reversed when lisa triumphed on sister 4 , 3 in final of lancome irish girls close championship @ mullingar golf club. first time in history of irish golf irish champions of both women s , girls events come same family let alone twin sisters. on 26 july, beat sister leona 4 shots in european young masters final @ chantilly, france. result, both twins picked european junior ryder cup team later lost usa @ olde stone, bowling green, kentucky on 17 september. in december, , sister leona named jointly women s amateur of year @ aib irish golf writers awards 2008.

2009

on 26 april, @ age of 14, maguire came third in helen holm scottish women s open amateur strokeplay golf championship played @ troon portland , troon old course. sister leona won event after final round score of 73 54 hole aggregate score of −6, 219. on 20 may, defeated mary dowling of new ross golf club 5&4 margin in final of lancôme irish women s close in fota island. on 21 june, did irish double winning irish women s open strokeplay following play-off hannah burke after both finished 5-under-par 54 holes @ douglas golf club. on 11 july, twins part of 4 girl ireland team defeated sweden 4–1 in final of girls european team championships @ kokkola, finland become european champions first time in irish golfing history. played great britain , ireland in vagliano trophy in july, becoming second youngest player @ age of 14 ever represent side, along twin sister leona youngest player 15 minutes. twins joint top highest scorers gb & side lost europe 13–11. both twins selected 2009 junior solheim cup team @ aurora country club, illinois, usa in august. in december, named women s amateur of year @ aib irish golf writers awards 2009.

2010

maguire played great britain , ireland in curtis cup in 2010, becoming second youngest player @ age of 15 ever represent side, along twin sister leona youngest 15 minutes.

2011

in march, maguire won spanish ladies open amateur champion in cádiz , in july won european ladies amateur championship @ noordwijk golfclub in netherlands, becoming first ever irish winner. chosen along sister leona in european side earned 12–12 draw against usa in ping junior solheim cup @ knightsbrook in meath on 21 september. in december, , sister leona named jointly women s amateur of year @ aib irish golf writers awards 2011.

2014

maguire left secondary school @ loreto college cavan in ireland top scholastic honours , joined duke university in durham, north carolina, u.s.

2015

on 6 july, maguire named on women s golf coaches association 2015 all-american scholar team.

2016

on 24 may maguire won ulster women’s open championship @ royal belfast golf club in ireland. registered 4 match play wins after finishing second in stroke play qualifying rounds of 76 , 77. on 7 july 2016 part of ulster team won 2016 ladies inter-provincial championship second straight year @ slieve russell golf club in ballyconnell, county cavan. on 2 november helped duke win east lake cup held @ east lake golf club in atlanta, georgia, usa, beating washington state in final.

2017

at lsu tiger golf classic held @ university club in baton rouge, louisiana, usa on 26 march, maguire hit first eagle of college career. on 5 july maguire selected women’s golf coaches association all-american scholars team second time in career.
