real orden de isabel la católica (royal order of isabella catholic), established fernand vii in 1815, “reward unflinching loyalty spain , merits of spanish , foreign subjects in benefit of nation , services relating prosperity of american , other overseas territories”. decoration responsibility of ministry of foreign affairs.
orden del mérito civil (order of civil merit), established alfonso xiii in 1926 “reward civic virtues of civil servants extraordinary services nation of spanish , foreign subjects”. responsibility of ministry of foreign affairs.

orden de la cruz de san raimundo de peñafort (order of cross of saint raymond of penyafort), established in 1944 “reward relevant merits performed persons involved in administration of justice , contribution , study of branches of law , untarnished services judicial activities under responsibility of ministry of justice. depende de la subsecretaría de justicia, través de la división de tramitación de derechos de gracia y otros derechos, y dentro de la orden existen diversas cruces y medallas.
orden del mérito constitucional (order of constitutional merit), established felipe gonzalez’s government in 1988 “reward persons distinguish services constitution , of values established therein”. can awarded both persons or organizations (public or private).
orden de cisneros (order of cisneros), founded in 1944 reward political merit. 1 of least known decorations still in existence today.
real orden de reconocimiento civil las víctimas del terrorismo (royal order civil recognition of victims of terrorism), created in 1991, in order honour killed, wounded or kidnapped terrorists. consists of grand cross, can awarded posthumously deceased , commendation, injured , kidnapped.

orden civil de sanidad (civil order of health), created in 1943 replace old cross of epidemias, end of “rewarding service , merit in ambit of medical care or in course of assistance in fighting epidemias”.
the orden al mérito del plan nacional sobre drogas (order of merit of national drug plan), established in 1995, comprises 3 levels: gold medal, “have distinguished in performance of activities or achievements of special significance or importance, or entailed risk life, both in prevention, assistance, reinsertion or in combating drug trafficking consequences or derived illicit earnings”; silver medal, “having carried out or carrying out noteworthy activities continued dedication , solidarity, in above mentioned areas, taking account real results”; white cross, “having shown exemplary , significant dedication in above mentioned reas”.
