twelve teams took part in qualification round i. drawn 3 groups of 4 teams, played on 4–6 september 2015. top 3 teams of each group advance qualification round ii.

tournament played in herceg novi, montenegro.

group b

tournament played in valletta, malta.

group c

tournament played in tbilisi, georgia.

qualification ii

18–20 september

sixteen teams took part in qualification round ii. 9 teams first round , 7 teams wild cards. these clubs formed 4 groups of 4 , had round robin tournaments @ 4 host cities on 18–20 october. top 2 of these groups advance play-off (qualification round 3).

tournament played in athens, greece.

tournament played in hannover, germany.

group f

tournament played in rijeka, croatia.

group g

tournament played in busto arsizio, italy.

qualification iii

3 october 2015: 1st match
17 october 2015: 2nd match

eight teams took part in qualification round iii. these teams played against each other on 2 legs on home-and-away basis. mechanism of draws each round follow:

in draw qualification round iii, 4 group winners seeded, , 4 group runners-up unseeded. seeded teams drawn against unseeded teams, seeded teams hosting second leg. teams same group not drawn against each other.

the first legs played on 3 october, , second legs played on 17 october 2015.
