first season

indian badminton league started in 2013. first season scheduled 14 august 2013 31 august 2013. hyderabad hotshots beat awadhe warriors in final 3 games 1 @ mumbai s sardar vallabhbhai patel indoor stadium. in round robin 15 matches scheduled across 6 indian cities, viz. delhi, lucknow, mumbai, pune, bangalore, , hyderabad. cities of delhi, lucknow, , pune host 3 matches each while mumbai, bangalore , hyderabad host 2 matches each in group stage. first semi-final played @ hyderabad s gachibowli indoor stadium while second played @ bangalore s kanteerava indoor stadium. final scheduled @ mumbai @ sardar vallabhbhai patel indoor stadium

third season

the third season of premier badminton league started on 1 january 2017 , concluded on 14 january 2017. followed same format earlier 2 leagues, , 4 teams proceed semi-finals awadhe warriors, mumbai rockets, chennai smashers , hyderabad hunters. chennai smashers beat awadhe warriors 4-1 , mumbai rockets beat hyderabad hunters 3-(-1) proceed final. chennai smashers won tournament after beating mumbai rockets 4-3.
