wilkinson became singapore citizen, after marrying singaporean, allowing him play international football singapore.


he called national team (consisted of 32) series friendly matches against north korea, saudi arabia , australia. made debut singapore on 24 june 2007 in second half against north korea , got assist. scored first international goal when broke deadlock in 1–1 draw against gulf cup champions, uae on 12 september 2007.


he scored in 4–0 win on palestine in world cup 2010 qualifying match on 8 october 2007. on 2 june 2008, scored in 3–7 home defeat against uzbekistan in third round of qualifying.
