the current constitution of iraq approved referendum on 15 october 2005, 2 years after united states-led invasion. constitution designed shift crucial decisions government, judiciary , human rights future national assembly. later modified provide establishment of committee parliament elected in december 2005 consider changes constitution in 2006.
