it rescued barry privately in 1981 , moved gloucestershire warwickshire railway restoration completed 1987. worked on gwilli railway, llangollen railway , east lancashire railway before coming west somerset railway (wsr) in 1995. owners sold wsr in 2004.


on 17 june 2011 renamed norton manor after 40 commando s base alongside railway @ norton fitzwarren. originally, great western railway had intended give name norton manor new locomotive number 7830, order locomotive cancelled. (7828) has been repainted in br lined green livery odney manor carried in 1957.
