following 3 consecutive losses in addition coming off short week, blazers defeat southern miss first time in school history on thursday night final score of 30-17. uab open scoring 27-yard josh zahn field goal , 31-yard joe webb touchdown run in first, have golden eagles score 10 in second tie game @ half. in third, webb hit anderson 21-yard touchdown in third take 17-10 lead fourth. zahn hit pair of field goals (51 & 32 yards) , hiram atwater seal game late following 40-yard interception return touchdown.
