the chromatics ct4100 graphics terminal displayed text , character-cell graphics in color.


the ct series lower-cost product chromatics, designed around introduced nec µpd7220 graphics display controller chip. product built using single circuit board. series not configured disk storage , disk-based operating system.


the ct4100 model had same form factor other ct series machines, chromatics system character-cell (not pixel-addressable) graphics. intended directly compete in process control display terminal market, against hughey s previous company, intelligent systems. due limited graphics flexibility available in type of display, ct4100 included downloadable character set allowing user-definable glyphs.
