abudu began career in uk recruitment consultant in 1987, becoming branch manager. went on work starform group, managing corporate credit management exhibition 1990 1992.

in 1993 joined arthur andersen esso exploration & production nigeria limited (now exxonmobil) head human resources , training unit. left in 2000 establish privately owned specialist human resources development company known vic lawrence & associates limited (vla).

while running vla, abudu developed executive training centre @ protea hotel, oakwood park, lagos.

in 2006, abudu started ebonylife tv, network airing in more 49 countries across africa, in uk , caribbean. subsidiary of media , entertainment city africa (mec africa), ebonylife tv located @ tinapa resort, calabar, cross river state, nigeria.
