in morning of 1 2 work days per week, trains of hohenzollern landesbahn (hzl) run on line tübingen freight yard, carrying scrap , timber mengen. in eyach train runs on hzl’s own line, eyach–hechingen railway. these trains hauled mak v 100 pa locomotives.

between eyach , horb there no regular freight traffic more. sidings of line closed down and/or blocked off. example, rottenburg freight yard redeveloped years new bus station.
