the taunton-bridgwater canal home installation termed somerset space walk , scale model (530 million:1) of solar system centred around sun @ maunsel lock planets located along towpath in both directions. space walk designed local man, pip youngman, in order demonstrate scale of solar system in interactive way. trail can walked either taunton s brewhouse theatre maunsel lock (pluto sun) or bridgwater s morrison s supermarket maunsel lock (also pluto sun) or of course, vice versa. pluto sun either town 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) walk.
