the exact use of castle not known. however, thought have been part of military , official compounds of city. many researchers of safavid era have spoken of numerous castles known narikh qalae, used military purposes. hence, can concluded naeen s narikh qalae military establishment. famous historian , researcher, estakhri mentioned there moat 3,000 ft perimeter dug around castle.
