the bolton arm of canal interrupted absence of hall lane aqueduct @ little lever, demolished in 1950 make way widening of hall lane. in darcy lever, damside aqueduct, crossed radcliffe road , tonge river, missing, having been demolished in june 1965. route of st peter s way has entirely destroyed significant section of canal heads centre of bolton , church wharf no longer exists. last section of bolton arm of canal still in water used fishing.
