widmark married screenwriter jean hazlewood 1942 until death in 1997. had daughter, anne heath widmark, artist , author married baseball player sandy koufax 1969 1982. in 1999, widmark married susan blanchard, daughter of dorothy hammerstein , stepdaughter of oscar hammerstein ii; had been henry fonda s third wife.


green city, missouri, site of widmark airport (faa lid: mo83) in northeastern missouri. towns size of green city, population numbered 688 inhabitants in 2000, not have airports, widmark owned cattle ranch in area during 1950s , 1960s. widmark contributed funds construction of airport led being named in honor.
